Job Description

The Program Manager owns the customer journey for assigned system and machine orders from order acceptance through manufacture, factory acceptance, shipment, and delivery to the customer site. The job is configuration control plus customer communication; work with the customer to define order and convert it into an executable factory plan while keeping Engineering, Manufacturing, Software, Supply Chain, Quality, and Field Service aligned to that plan. Acts as the customer’s POC and advocate to the factory, ensuring the committed configuration, schedule, and acceptance criteria are executed by the factory.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated program plans, deliverables and execution orders
• Generate proposals with accurate deliverables and pricing while ensuring compliance with company procedures, security requirements and customer expectations
• Drive a cross-functional team to efficiently and profitably meet all technical and schedule aspects of assigned orders
• Provide status communication via progress updates and reports, internally and to customers
• Execute plan per schedule with minimal cost and schedule variance
• Maintain ownership through successful completion of installation and field acceptance of equipment including documentation of services and project closure
• Manage program budgets, forecasts and resource requirements
• Ability to travel domestically up to 20%

Education & Experience Desired

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering related field
• PMP Certification required
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in a technical manufacturing environment
• Experience with Epicor or other manufacturing software
• Microsoft Project or other schedule management tools experience

Salary range $125k-$135k.
